Better floors replaced our carpet a few weeks ago. Showroom staff and the guys who did the carpet were friendly. We... replaced 1 floor and they finished in a day. They ended up being cheaper than lowes and home depot and I like the carpet better than what the big box stores had for the price we wanted to spend.read more

Jacob really helped me focus in on what I was looking for with so so many luxury vinyl plank options and a certain color and price for second home. From the beginning to the end, my experience with the team at Better Floors has been amazing! Tracy helped me with her... flooring experience to find the best product within my budget. The installers were fantastic as well.I highly recommend Better Floors for all of your flooring needs.Our house is only about 5 and a half years old but I really wanted laminate flooring in my living space. (kitchen, living room and dining room. They gave us a time they were going to be here. Two people showed up then went out side for two hours while they... waited for two other guys to show up. My biggest complaint was that only one of installers spoke very little English, made it very difficult to communicate with them. They had to send someone too fixed things done wrong. Love my new kitchen floor.read more

We are very excited about our new kitchen floor! The install crew were very polite, listened and install the flooring... in an afternoon. I would recommend Better Floors for flooring in any home in the Richmond, Virginia area. Oh and they also do kitchen back splashes as well!read more

I have been waiting for repairs on the flooring this company installed since June. In August they attempted to repair... the flooring but instead they made it worse…. I have contacted the owners and managers about the uneven flooring and most of the time they do not respond … the one response I did get from someone named Mike was over a month ago… so just know once they get your money they have no problem leaving you with junk floors you have to cover up with rugs… look elsewhere if you want quality and “better floors” because you probably won’t find it hereread more

We used Better Floors to sand and coat oak floors (that never saw the light of day as they were covered by carpet for... over 60 years) and they did a great job. Kevin, the installer, was friendly, polite and answered any questions. The finished product looks beautiful and we would certainly recommend Better Floors.read more

They were eager to gain the new business from me but since then the sense of urgency is no longer there. They did not... pay attention to the details of the project and gave me the wrong threshold (though it had been described to them). After telling them about the issue and a promise they would call the warehouse and get a correct one brought in that has never occurred as of yet (two weeks later - 6/2/21). I had to call three times to get someone to follow through on the warehouse call and get back to me. Now after all that I get the pleasure of paying an additional $49.99 for the threshold. I will admit they have said they will credit the first $10.00 for the incorrect piece of flat wood. Honestly, not sure that my money was well spent for my benefit.read more

I had a great experience with Better Floors for an upstairs wall to wall carpet install.Tracey helped me find a carpet... that was totally stain resistant.If liquid is spilled or your dog has an accident the fiber doesn’t absorb the liquid.The company was timely and courteous and did a very professional job for me.read more

Currently working with Tracey & Ben on an estimate to install natural wood flooring on the second level of my home, as... well as refinish the floors on the first level. They’re prompt, courteous and professional... sounds cliche, but it’s TRUE. I’ve had work done by Better Floors in the past (hardwood and carpeting at a different property) and they are SUPERB at what they do. This is why I’m a 3x repeat customer. I had vinyl flooring and tile installed in my home and Better Floors did a great job. I liked that they didn't race... through the installation. They took their time to make sure it was done right. They also checked with me to be sure I was happy with the installation as it was happening. Very customer oriented. Working with the sales people to pick out the vinyl and tile was also an enjoyable experience. Overall, the experience of upgrading the flooring in our house was a good one.read more
